The owners and the Management Team have over 45 years of nursery school teaching experience, ensuring your children are in safe hands. At Hollins Wood Childcare, they have a highly qualified team, including six early years teachers and professionals.
The team here is dedicated to ensuring every child receives the time, space, and encouragement to grow and become the best they possibly can be.
Sarah has been passionate about education and childcare since leaving school. She started her working career as a Nursery Nurse before attending university to complete a Science Degree and gaining Qualified Teacher Status. She has taught a range of children from nursery to eleven year olds over her sixteen year teaching career.
Heather has worked at Hollins Wood Childcare for nearly six years and been the manager for three years. She is a qualified Early Years Professional and also the lead Forest School Teacher. Heather has many years of experience working with nursery children across all ages.
Amy has been part of the Hollins Wood Team for over seven years, stepping up to take on the Deputy Role back in 2014. She is the Pre-School Room Leader as well as the Special Education Needs and Disability Co-Ordinator.
Sara is an Early Years Teacher with a PGCE in Advanced Early Years. She currently works as a room leader in one of the preschool rooms and is also the nursery Deputy Manager. She is the nursery Assessment Co-Ordinator and also works across the Hollins Wood Team, improving practice and supporting team members when necessary.
