HOLLINS WOOD CHILDCARE
COVID-19 POLICY
Since the announcement by the Prime Minister to reopen Early Years settings, we have studied many guidance documents from the Government and professional advisors intended to support the opening of Primary Schools and Children’s Day-care Nurseries from the 1st June 2020.
We have thought long and hard about ensuring our nursery is a safe and clean place to return to, as the healthy and safety of our team and families are central to everything we do.
Some of the key guidance points for nursery settings to work towards are as follows:
· Reduced numbers in rooms
· Social distancing for all team members
· No soft toys etc in room
· Rigorous cleaning
· No parents within the building
· Staggering of drop off / pick up times if necessary
Taking these points and many others into account, we have produced an in depth Risk Assessment and Covid-19 Policy, if you would like a copy, it is available via within the nursery app or you can contact the office at enquiries@hollinswoodchildcare.co.uk
Our Risk Assessment and Policy is incredibly detailed, however below is an overview of what the nursery will be doing to safeguard our team and children:
