Hedgehogs Pre-School Room

The Hedgehogs Room is one of our Pre-School Room's and is the next step to independence, with more focused activities, where children can engage and challenge themselves further. It is an excellent educational environment, preparing children for their next stage in learning, with creative teaching guided by the children's interests. Hedgehogs Room also have their own, covered, outdoor classroom which is an extension of the inside learning environment.

Daily phonics, maths and story sessions are led by the Early Years Teachers who work across the Pre-School Unit ensuring all children make progress within their own capabilities. They carefully plan the educational activities ensuring children's individual needs are met.

We are currently offering the 30 hour funded childcare.

Jordann oversees both Pre-School rooms, she has been with the Hollins Wood Team for just over 8 years. She has lots of experience working with children. Jordann holds a level 6 qualification in Early Years Practice.
