  • Is able to laugh at jokes they don’t understand or don’t find funny.
  • Can support a child who wants to be a Pirate when they grow up.
  • Be able to give warm hugs when required.
  • Can rapidly count the heads of small moving people.
  • Has the ability to eat pretend play-dough creations realistically.
  • Has the ability to read a story upside down, with at least 4 interruptions per page.

Roles within the nursery:

* Apprentices / Trainee nursery practitioner

* Unqualified nursery assistant

* Level 2 and 3 qualified nursery practitioner

* Level 4 and above qualified nursery educator

* Early Years Teacher

* Room leader and management roles

* House keeping, office and site maintenance roles
